A company near the East Carolina campus was having issues getting their ERCES approved. The BDA communications system was unable to function with its maximum signal strength due to the building's concrete structure, and as a result, it did not comply with regulations. A Class B Bi-Directional Amplifier, a high power, band-selective signal booster created especially for in-building 2-way emergency radio communication augmentation systems, was installed by our team. The business is now in compliance with NFPA and IBC/IFC standards.
