We are very pleased with the flooring, it's beautiful, but it was very stressful because we were not adequately prepared for the job. We were told to take everything out of our furniture cabinets because they would be moved from one side of the room. To the other once the floor was laid. My husband called Cindy a few days before to confirm this because we were not sure how they could be stained and polyurethaned half of a floor at a time. She said no, just empty everything out. So the morning of the job, the guys showed up and said this furniture has to go. "There's too much furniture in here." So myself, my husband, our 2 boys and the Brazilian workers feverishly moved my Grandmother's 75y.o. Dining room furniture to the garage and BACKPORCH for at least a week with other furniture because we did NOT know this was to be done and by the way, you can't walk on them for 3 or 4 days so at the last minute I have to find a place for us to stay with a dog and eat and continue working. This added $600 to our price. When my husband called Cindy about moving the furniture, he woke her up and then she calls me and said the workers would move the furniture for an additional 147$, but we would have to move it back and not to mention we busted our tails moving the furniture too. I honestly feel this was a stressful bad experience simply because we were not only misinformed, but completely not informed on several things. My furniture was on our BACKPORCH in the rain and humidity and could easily have been stolen as well. ( The porch is covered, screened), but no doors. Now, the floors very thankfully are beautiful, I hope there's enough polyurethane, especially in the kitchen, I would like to have had extra coats, but there's no way I could do that now. The floors are beautiful and the price was excellent which is why we went with your company, but I would suggest you give people checklists and explicit instructions prior to doing a job, particularly one this big. To clarify, my overall experience was bad because of being misinformed, the work that was done was excellent, the quality of the work and service was excellent minus Cindy's lack of preparing us. The crew was great and I love my floors.
