We recently contracted with 2nd Generation Chimneys, Inc. to inspect our fireplace and chimney. They found one item that needed repair and were back to complete the work within a couple days. Always impressed with 2nd generation chimneys. Lisa is amazing, I get phone calls and email responses immediately. Working weird hours as a nurse, she is always accommodating and honestly I think she is never not working. Troy was so professional kind and respectful. He called before arrival and was even able to get to my to our house early which was a bonus. Left our house and fireplace spotless! I will never hesitate to refer Troy and second generation chimneys to family and friends!

2nd Generation came out to install an insert in the old fireplace and a chimney liner. They were exactly on time, extremely professional, they explained everything and answered all of our questions. The insert has a fire going in it right now, so wonderful to have a safe fire to enjoy again, and peace of mind if the power goes down to have heat available. I highly recommend 2nd Generation Chimney, they are wonderful people, a pleasure to work with, they get the job done correctly, and are very good at what they do.

This was the second company that I called for an estimate. First company informed me that the chimney needed to be re-lined. The first company took pictures with a drone and his phone. Second Generation was on my roof within minutes after they arrived. I was informed me that I needed to have my chimney cleaned and that it was going to add another hundred dollars to my inspection. Ok lets do it! Not happy about spending more but they couldn’t give an evaluation without it. This was the first cleaning in 29 years! Shame on me! The cleaning saved me thousands of dollars from making a costly mistake. The chimney was fine and didn’t need replacement! It was necessary to replace cracked and broken refractory panels in the firebox. Troy just finished replacing the boards and I am extremely grateful for his professional manner and his quality work. I am looking forward to using my fire place soon and I will get it cleaned yearly . Thank You!
