Very knowledgeable!!

John knows how water flows, what it's attracted to, and how to divert and control it. I've been very impressed with his level of knowledge and will happily recommend Barrier Waterproofing to anyone!

Immediate expertise!!

John knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix the problem. I had spent significant time researching and talking to structural engineers. I felt he knew more about water movement and building than anyone I had previously spoken with. Nightmare over!!!! Very Grateful.

A basement home that is built on a monolithic slab must be waterproofed on the exterior. Since the slab does not “float” between the walls, the water has a direct path to the concrete floor surface inside the home as soon as it gets through the mortar joint of the slab and the first block. Call us @ 615-426-0468 to learn more about why monolithic slabs are not good designs for basements.

This job was evaluated by: https://tnbasementwaterproofing.com/ Issue: Home owner got 3" of water in her basement during the last storm. She wants to protect her hot water heater in the basement. She has a furnace there too. She may want a sump pump to see how that works. I told her we could also install a floor drain. She wants our opinion on how to fix it. She would also like to store other items in the basement too.
