I have been a customer of Tevis Energy/Modern Comfort since 1992 when they installed my heating and cooling system on the house I was building. It consisted of 2 heat pumps and back up oil furnace for the first floor heat pump, they did an excellent job. In 2012 when they came out and performed the annual maintenance they found an unrepairable issue within the furnace and suggested replacement. Then the issue of compatibility of older freon to newer freon, so I said give me a price on replacing furnace and heat pump together. After tech called and got me the price, I asked him to get a price on second floor heat and heat pump. After receiving the price for all of it I presented a counter offer which they accepted as long as they could do it all that day, It was about 1030 am. the Tech started taking out the furnace and by 11am there were 5 trucks and 4 more techs at my house. At 830 pm the last 2 techs left after verifying all systems worked and they still do Since then I have had Tevis install propane log set in my fireplace and hook up propane line and tank to my standby generator. Over the 33 years I have had only few minor blimps with Tevis that where always resolved. I would say over the 33 years Tevis energy and Modern Comfort have provided me we outstanding advice and service! Thanks
