Jay and Benjamin did a great job yesterday installing the new dehumidifier. Their service went above and beyond when they identified ductwork that was disconnected and leaking. They showed us the problems (along with other non-hvac concerns), gave us a price estimate, and made the needed repairs. Another great job by Comfort Central.

Cameron was able to get to us quickly on the day we called. Diagnosis was quick and accurate. The repair was efficiently done after the part arrived a few days later. After the quote initially, I wanted to check around to see what others charged for the same repair, but came back to Comfort Central to have them do the work. Cameron was very pleasant to work with. As always, Cameron did an excellent job, was a pleasure to have around, and provided interesting information about our heating system, as well as how to keep it performing well. We have been very pleased to have the Comfort Club that checks our heating and air-conditioning system twice a year. Found attic furnace to have a fault for inducer. Tried to start inducer came on ran for two seconds and shut back off.
Performed heating tune up on heat pump system checking all electrical components, refrigerant balance, unit start up, operation, defrost, shutdown, cleaned indoor and outdoor coils, treated drain line. Checked filter. Everything looks and runs great!

Could not install radiator due to the boiler pipes being too close together. They really should be a half inch gap around both pipes so these can be spread a little bit to get them on the radiator.

While running heat, it sounded like the inducer slowed down a little bit and it was drawing 1.4 A 1.3 it has runs was testing carbon monoxide And when the inducer made that noise, the carbon monoxide went up to 800. We went ahead and shut everything down. Make sure all the drains were cleared. Cleared out the drain trap and put everything back together and tested Started the system back up inducer now drawing 1.1 amp and carbon monoxide at 45%.

Talk to Tech Support and we went over some stuff as far as testing goes all our tests seem to say that everything should be working, however we will need an MHK to thermostat. We will have to disconnect the analog to digital device and plug in the MHK two. This MHK two thermostat is gonna have to be used as a diagnostic tool so we can read the codes on why this thing isn’t running. We’re gonna have to return after we get that thermostat.
System heat was stuck on and heated home to 94 degrees when away from house. Cycled system checking operation of electric heat, fan on operation, and heat mode of heat pump. Checked low and high voltage connections, relays, thermostat wiring. Did not find anything that would cause heat to stay on. Recommended watching system over the next couple days and let us know if it happens again.
Found indoor air handler needs its own separate power terminal block and its own 15 amp 2 pole dedicated circuit to address submittals concerns for indoor units. Will order part and send estimate to follow up. Installed terminal block on air handler and conversion kit. This kid is recommended for Mitsubishi when using an air handler with other units to help with the capacity of all the equipment.
Frowned service disconnect breaker that’s inside the unit to have gone bad cannot reset it. System already has a service disconnect hanging on the wall went ahead and wire noted leg one and leg two to the internal wires. We’re gonna be ordering a replacement heat strip. I will let you know when it comes in
Found pilot light to be out. Re-lit it clean flame sensor started boiler. While looking around, noticed that the gas line has no gas cock on it. The water line has no backflow preventer. There is no shut off switch. Also noticed that on the diverter for the flu gas there is no spill switch. I gave all the information on repairs to the office. They’re gonna send you a quote and a date and time for Kevin to come out and give a quote on the boiler.
