Basement Mitsubishi unit is too small to heat the basement when it gets as cold as it was. Once your boiler is replaced and you’re able to use your radiant floor heat you should have no other issues.
Added mixing valve to the potable hot water side of the boiler to give more a vape balanced water temperature
Found thermostat reading indoor temp 85 and set to 60 indoor temperature of home measured 50 - found thermostat batteries had died and internal relay on thermostat was warmed up by the 24v provided by indoor unit. Replaced batteries and cooled thermostat - cycled to check operation. Everything came back on normally and unit is cycling normally.
Kitchen radiator vent currently a 40 looking to upgrade to a larger vent. Upstairs 35" 6 cell bathroom radiator has a leak - recommend replacement of radiator Upstairs back bedroom radiator also leaking 2' 16 cells also looking for replacement.
Found L1 wire had come loose from circuit breaker causing breaker to turn off on a thermal overload. Reconnected L1 wire and checked all electrical connections. Cycled in emergency heat to check operation. Everything runs normally again.
It’s like a clear poly froze wherever it goes outside. This caused pressure in the line which caused the clear poly to come off of the condensate pump. At this point, the water probably sprayed out of the condensate pump got all over the decking and filled up the emergency drain pan. Once it filled up the emergency drain pan float switch shut off the furnace. The emergency drain pan is 100% block of ice. I reconnected the hose made sure the hose clamp was super tight started the system to make sure it would come on, and I turned off the breaker the condensate pump and all the ice in the emergency drain pan will have to melt before we can run the system. Gonna have to vacuum out the water, reconnect the float switch inside the furnace and test to make sure there’s no other issues
No lights at head. S1 amd S2 are steady with 35vdc. Should be fluctuating. Have 220 on s1 and s2. Called tech support . Tech Support verified that the power board and the communication board are bad and must be replaced
Found system operating normally at this time no recommended changes.
Adjusted downstairs tstat. System can’t heat to 78 when it’s as cold as cold as it it was
Condensate pump cracked and leaking - replaced condensate pump and cycled to check operation. Everything runs normally again.
Found system off at breaker in basement - cycled system to check operation - checked in both emergency heat and regular cycle - removed 45 minute upstage timer for electric heat - adjusted electric heat lock out temp to 40. Everything comes on and runs normally.
Found inducer motor had failed - inducer motor will have to be ordered will call as inducer arrives.
Found W wire at thermostat was not connected at thermostat. Reconnected wire and tested system operation - electric heat comes on normally and heat pump working within manufacturer's specifications.
Found 3 inch PVC coupling to be leaking. Cut out leaking section and re-piped with new fittings. Also noticed that the horizontal pipe is pitch the wrong way. There’s no way to fix this because of the termination piece that goes through the roof. Vacuumed water out of emergency drain pan. Put insulation back on vent pipe Filter door is at the left side of the furnace 24 x 24 x 1
