Found zone control board hz432 set to emergency heat causing unit to not come on in cooling mode. Took out of emergency heat mode and cycled to check operation on board and from thermostats. Everything runs normally again.
Found furnace intermittently throwing an A13 error on light off causing system to go out on lockout. Removed and cleaned burners, adjusted gas pressure, checked temperature differential and cycled to check operation. System now lights consistently everytime and across all 5 burners. Believe system could benefit from a new set of burners next fall and a tune up after burner replacement to check the fire rate of the furnace. Will order burners for fall tune up. Set up wifi redlink gate way and app to thermostat. Ethernet splitter did not work to adapt to the router. Recommend router switch to make more available dedicated Ethernet ports. Will order router switch to follow up on complete install of gateway.
Found old mercury bulb thermostat had failed on causing system to overheat - replaced thermostat and checked operation of system.
Red screen was maintenance reminder. I reset it I lowered storage tank from 130 to 120. Turned on all thermostats. Checked master bedroom hallway radiator for noise. Just heard regular clicking noise as the metal expands on the radiator. Couldn’t find anything that was unusual with it. Ultimate Heating Tune-Up Gas Heat: serviced and inspected gas heating system checking water flow ,water temperature rise, electrical, gas pressure, safeties, controls and limits, heat exchanger and venting. cleaned and checked system components to manufacturer specifications and performed combustion inspection
Infinity control fan mode was set to low. I reprogrammed it said it to auto. Verified through equipment status that it was off waiting for a heating call. Explain the thermostat and where to adjust these functions on the infinity control. If for some reason, the thermostat shifts out of auto by itself give us a call. We may have to replace the control.
Found condenser fan motor to be seized up when powered. Replace condenser fan motor. Started an intestine system.
Found H5 error code - 5 time p2 lockout - on outdoor unit causing unit to lock out - reset lockout and cycled to check operation - found refrigerant balance within a normal range. Didn't find any other issues with system. May have triggered fault during a power outage. Recommended watching the unit for awhile to make sure system is operating within expectations.
Furnish materials and labor for replacement of pump cartridge kit - replaced pump cartridge and purged air from system lines - cycled system to check operation - turned off gas heater per customer request - set thermostat to 70. Everything looks and runs great!
Warranty replacement of visionpro 8000 thermostat
Added two indoor temperature sensors to hallway zone to average temperatures between the two bedrooms. Cycled to check operation. Everything runs normally!
Condenser fan motor was replaced by homeowner. Checked wiring with schematic. Everything was wired correctly. Sometimes the fan doesn’t come on sometimes the fan stays on recommend replace contactor and defrost board. Wants Kevin to revisit and give them an updated estimate on replacing his systems
Performed heating maintenance tune up service on hot water boiler system checking all electrical components, performed full combustion analysis, oiled each zone pump, cleaned drain trap and condensate pump. Everything looks and runs great!
Found thermostat set to lock out electric heat until outdoor temperature is below 5° F. Removed lock out - found slightly over charged - removed refrigerant to match actual superheat to required superheat - would like to return when technical support is available.
Found grundfos type UP 15-42 B5 115V 1 ph 60 hz pump for Apollo loop impeller has failed. Recommend replacement of pump cartridge. Turned off system, let homeowner know we will follow up with more information about the pump cartridge.
Returned 2/14 PM found system limiting out again in high fire - double checked gas pressure found .2" w.c. over where suggested adjustment was. Adjusted gas pressure down and cycled to check operation - ran in both low and high fire and cycled a complete cycle to check operation.
