We had an emergency on Friday the 13th, Weston performed emergency services to shut our sprinkler system off. We thank him very much for great response and service

Thank you for your 5-star review! We're glad we were able to help you in your time of need.
When the service was requested, it was cited as $99 for a full system checkup plus parts for repair or replacement. The total bill was $2,402.76. I am not a sprinkler expert, so I cannot appraise the cost. The information is being shared for others to consider. It's too soon to rate what was accomplished. Dennis was professional and polite, explaining what was done and did the work in a timely manner
Response from Andy's Sprinkler, Drainage & Lighting Austin Office:

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review!
Joe is extremely knowledgeable about drainage issues and I felt confident he would do a great job, which he did. He and his guys put 2 channel drains in for me, one in my yard and the other in front of my garage. He also connected my downspout to a pipe in ground. He and his guys were on time every day and Joe explained things so I was able to understand the process. Always made himself available and resolved any issues. I recommend Joe!
After some initial difficulties getting a service appointment set up, Gavin and his crew were on the job just hours after I spoke with the manager at Andy’s. They found and repaired a broken control wire and located four pipe breaks caused by recent tree planting. The work was accomplished quickly and effectively and the system is back up and running. The price was not cheap but fair for what they had to do. I really appreciated Garvin’s expertise and quick repairs. It was not an easy job.
Gavin very professional. Of course he tried to upswell me but gave me information that I could be entitled to a rebate so I’m considering it.
I've used them twice and both times they have exceeded my expectations. Very professional and excellent work. Let the ratings speak for themselves
During the system check, no major issues were found on the property. Some minor bypass was found at a few pop-up spray heads to be reevaluated in the spring and return visit.
Customer called for an after hours emergency shutoff, a zone came on by itself and had broken heads and was flooding the yard. A neighbor turned off the controller before I arrived, the controller is old and the dial doesn’t work, time is wrong, likely ran according to program. I disconnected the common wire and closed the backflow. Sent customer an estimate to replace controller, customer will call the office on Monday to schedule an appointment, they are overdue for a system inspection.
We came for winter visit of a winter prep service call. We checked the system before turning off the water. We did not find any issues to report during our system check. After checking, we turned the water off at the isolation valve, and drained the RPZ (backflow). We opened all 4 test cocks and blew the RPZ out. The RPZ is drained to the best of our ability. The controller is turned off for the winter months.
Went to customers house due to a valve sticking. We found some valves were passing water causing a continuous leak. The valves were 20+ year old jar top valves that were leaking/passing water and need to be replaced. We located and replaced all valves. Additionally, the backflow was an old gate valve that was also leaking. We replaced and checked all work. No more leaks on the system. No additional repairs at this time.
Over all system check. Customer pointed out the area/head that was broken in zone 2. The 4in head was broken and we replaced it with a 6in PRS head with a rotator nozzle. After that was fixed we found another head that was broken in zone 2 and also replaced it with a 6in PRS head with rotator nozzle. In zone 5 we found and clogged nozzle and replaced it with a 12F. In zone 8 we found two head that were not popping up high enough to clear that grass so we replaced the two heads with 6in PRS heads. Last we found a leaking rotor head in zone 10 and replaced the rotor.
We came to check the system and address a couple of known leaks. We discovered that there are several repairs to be made other than the known broken heads. The controller is on its last leg, and has already burnt out one of the modules (the remaining modules show signs of failure as well). We would replace the controller. We would need to replace 4 zone valves (zone 1, 4, 6 & 7). There are 12 4” heads, and 2 risers to replace. There is a 1/2” pipe break, and 4 heads to cap, and 4 nozzles to change. We have put the repairs into 2 quotes, and attached the quotes to this invoice.
Customer called us out because they have a 1.80 gpm leak. But this leak is not on the irrigation system and they will need to contact a plumber. After checking ohms everything looks normal, however the last company that did work on the system replaced the controller but didn’t do it correctly. All they did was take the inside face plate off and put in a new one from a Hydrawise controller. Upon inspection of the controller it was making a ticking noise like a clock, after trying to turn the stations of from the controller it wouldn’t register my finger taping the zones. So I asked the customer if they could use the app, and she was having problems getting it to work with her phone as well. I am going to recommend replacing the controller with a rachio.
During the system check, minimal issues were found throughout the property. A total of three rotors were flagged to be replaced due to the rotors either leaking at the base of the stem and body, or not retracting after the zone was shut off. Two nozzles on existing spray, heads were clogged or damaged and were flagged to be replaced. These issues were presented to the client, and approval was given to replace one rotor, and replace the two clogged/damaged nozzles. The client asked to have an estimate put together for reconfiguring part of zone two, and zone four to add additional sprinklers to help ensure proper coverage. Those estimates will be sent to the client with the invoice for the work that was completed during today’s visit.
Zone 13 1 spyke Zone 8 added 10 spyke Zone 8 drip repair Zone 3 4” head replacement to 6’ Customer declined rf sensor All other zones look good
We came for a repair only stop (did not check the whole system). We replaced a known broken 4” head on zone 7. We checked the new head after it was installed. We also made a couple of adjustments to the rotors on zone 6.
During the system check, several issues were found throughout the property. A total of 28 pop-up sprayheads were flagged to be replaced due to them almost all leaking at the base of the stem and body, or being damaged. One riser was flagged to be replaced, as the, lateral supply line was broken. A total of nine nozzles on existing risers were flagged to be replaced due to the nozzles not being the correct shape, size, or were damaged. The controller is very old and it is recommended to have it replaced with a new controller, that has protection against power surges, as well as the settings being erased when power is lost. The existing controller, while quite old, is still in good working order. All of the issues listed above were presented to the client, and approval was given to complete all of the recommended repairs with the exception of replacing the controller. All approved work was completed at the time of the visit.
During the system check, minimal issues were found throughout the property. A total of seven pop-up sprayheads were flagged to be replaced throughout the 10 zones. These repairs were presented to the client, and approval was given to replace five of the spray heads. One rotary nozzle was installed on an existing spray head to ensure a matched precipitation rate for the zone. All approved work was completed at the time of the visit.
Customer called us out to program her controller. Checked date and time and programmed for the right water days and times, and the correct time for each zone. Did a system check, found 2 broken rotors, a clogged nozzle, and a broken half inch pipe. Customer approved repairs, also installed a new wireless rain sensor.
