Cavin the technician was very professional and provided great service
Met and exceeded expectations for the service call. Andy knew exactly how to meet our needs and made additional suggestions that improved our sprinkler setup. Will be calling Andy’s for all future maintenance and install.
Excellent service from John. Very polite and concerned about needs. Took his time and very thorough. I will definitely use Andys Service when I have another need.
Scheduling was fast. Great work from Pedro and Lee. The cost of the changes made to the sprinkler heads was much more than I expected, but I am pleased with the results. I would recommend Andy Sprinklers whom I have used for the past few years.

Customer called us out because he had a leak in a valve box and the handles to his back flow (DCA) were rusted and broke off. Customer decided to replace the DCA up to code which we also installed a PVC ball valve before the DCA. Also next to the new DCA we cut out and replaced 2 valves with rainbird 1in DVF valves. The leak was at the T going into one of the valves. After we finished the work we turned the water back on and the meter still moving at 0.34. We turned the ball valve off right before the DCA and the meter is still moving which is telling us there is still a leak on the domestic side of the water line or something in the house. We left the PVC ball off leading to the irrigation for now.

After checking the system I found 13 rotors leaking, sticking, not rotating. Also 10 heads in the front yard sticking leaking or unable to adjust, there are a few other low heads on left side of driveway, however the grass seems tall. I also found 2 nozzles incorrectly sized, and 1 cap for a head underneath the back patio. In total 13 rotors, 10 6 inch heads, 2 nozzles, and 1 threaded cap, 15 minutes of location time for head under patio.
Customer called us out due to foundation repairs broke several wires and pipes. We repaired the 4 broken pipes and 4 wires that were exposed. We checked the repairs and found that the mainline was broken and needs to be repaired, there was a lot of debris that went into the pipes. We checked repair and found a broken pipe on zone four. We repaired the that pipe as well and was able to get zone one to pressurize properly. When we went from zone 2 to zone 3 zone 2 had stayed on. It was stuck open due to debris getting in the pipes and it was stuck and had to re located and replaced. All these repairs were made from the repairs to the foundation. Additionally, there was a broken head. All repairs were made and checked with customer. No additional repairs at this time.
Upon arrival I start checking the system and realize the backflow was leaking from a male threaded coupling. I noticed in the history that the backflow was replaced this year January 19th. I will be warranty repairing the dca and will be able to reuse the dca. We also will be installing a RF sensor in case of a freeze.
1st Story - 48' Wreath Re-hang Complete 11/25/2024
Overall system check. Customer had us out mainly to reroute pipe away from where the new generator is going to be installed after the system check I noticed a few dry spots throughout the yard was able to upgrade a few spray head nozzles to get better coverage and also a couple MP rotator nozzles to get better coverage in zone eight I found one leaking head replaced the head to a 6 inch PRS head. The reroute consisted of rerouting 2 one inch PVC lines as well as three zone wires and the common.
Over all system check. After running through the system in zone one she had 3 heads with next to the street with high efficiency nozzles on a zone with rotary heads and two heads with MP nozzles. We swapped out the three nozzles to get better match precipitation rate. Same with zone three we swapped out seven high-efficiency nozzles to MP rotator nozzles. In zone four we replaced one rotary head that was leaking and change to high efficiency nozzles to MP rotator nozzles.
During the system check, several issues were found throughout the property. A total of 23 pop-up spray, heads were flagged it to be replaced due to the heads, either being set too low, or were damaged and leaking severely. A total of five leaks were found in the drip irrigation and were flagged to be repaired. The client had mentioned specifically that the controller was having issues and that they wanted to replace it with a Wi-Fi controller. A Rachio eight station controller was added to the estimate as well. A three-quarter inch lateral line was broken for zone three in the backyard and was flagged to be repaired. All the issues listed above were presented to the client, and approval was given to only complete the system check. No repairs were completed during the visit. An estimate with the recommended repairs will be sent to the client with the invoice from todays visit.
