worked on a custom food truck wrap for a new client, but when we began the installation, we noticed that the surface of the truck had several dents and areas of chipped paint that weren’t visible during the initial design consultation. These imperfections would have caused bubbling and poor adhesion of the vinyl wrap. To solve the problem, I paused the install and discussed the issue with the client. With their approval, I prepped the surface by sanding down the rough areas and applying filler where needed to smooth out the dents. After letting everything cure and doing a final surface clean, I was able to apply the wrap cleanly, ensuring a smooth, professional finish.
