I had a terrific experience with the flood company. Daryl was very thorough, open, and honest. I had previously had another company in to assess the same area and their recommendations obviously would have been to their benefit but we're more than what was necessary to address my problem. I am very happy with the flood company. We were fortunate to have insurance cover the cost of the repairs but it did not cover the cost of the roof repair. So it was outside of the scope of work that the flood company was helping us with. We hired a roofer that we knew and had used in the past and repaired the problem, but Daryl with the flood company was willing to also come and help test the roof repair to make sure it was safe for us to proceed with our repairs.Ok

The mold is a lot worse than I imagined that it could be. The Flood Co. Has been very helpful and informative, and patient with all of my questions. I'm glad I didn't believe one of the adds that I saw that said they could remove mold by spraying and fogging, it would have been a waist of my money. Cheaper is not better if it doesn't accomplish anything.

I really did learn a lot from there inspection. I had no I idea that dort in the ductwork was even an issue. I didn't anticipate that there would be mold in the walls in the basement. Now we can address and get that cleaned up. The walls around the chimney was a surprise though I wasn't aware of the long term leaks that had been going on there. These guys are sharp.

Mold removal in Bountiful Utah. The basement level of this home is a walkout basement and the Landscaping is right at the bottom of the finished walls on the exterior. The finish for siding material is Brick. As you can see from the picture moistures been coming through the bottom of the wall over time. It's either a landscape issue or sprinklers that are poorly adjusted and they will need to figure that out to prevent future dampness.
Mold Cleanup in Bountiful Utah. This is a nice home on the East bench of Bountiful. The owners of 26 years one of them is past the other one is elderly and they need to move out of the home. Their family is getting it ready to sell and they're dealing with a couple of mold cleanup issues. It's a very nice home great View and a good area it should sell well for them.
Water damage Cleanup in Bountiful Utah. This was a slow leak from the tub faucet, there were not any outward evidence. It had developed a little bit of mold which we cleaned up and set up some equipment to help it to dry the insulation in the wall and the ceiling of the bedroom below was quite soaked.

A rubber mat is very useful to help keep the carpet cleaner but in this instance it's in a basement and the slab is damp. The slab has quite a bit of moisture that comes up through the floor and was trapped under the rubber mat and led to this discoloration.

This post is not water damaged related but something I thought I would share. In one of our local parks is they cut down some big tall trees rather than entirely take out the stumps they hired and someone to do some carvings of animals and they look sort of neat.
