Doing a mold inspection in a home that's for sale in Layton Utah. This home has a sump pump that's been installed in one of the basement window wells. That would suggest at some point there's been a history of groundwater or dampness that would require the sump pump. There's no evidence of it at this point in the basement that's only partially finished. I did make a recommendation to the prospective buyers to make sure they have some pump coverage on their insurance.
