Scraped and sanded areas of peeling paint, feathering edges for smooth transition. Applied elastomeric caulk to all joints and seams. Repaired wood rot on fascia boards, replacing 12 linear feet with pre-primed cedar. Spot-primed bare wood and caulked areas with oil-based primer. Masked windows, doors, and architectural features with 3M blue tape and plastic sheeting. Covered landscaping with drop cloths. Conducted lead paint test on pre-1978 surfaces, results negative. Set up Werner 32-foot extension ladder with standoffs for upper level access. Prepared 5-gallon buckets of Sherwin-Williams Duration exterior paint in satin finish for application tomorrow.
