Today I completed an interior painting job at a residential home, and during the process, I encountered an issue with uneven wall texture in the living room. The previous paint job had left roller marks and patchy areas that were especially noticeable under natural light. To address the problem, I first sanded down the rough patches and applied a skim coat to even out the surface. After allowing it to dry, I re-primed the area and used a high-quality roller with the proper nap length to ensure a smooth, consistent finish. The end result was a clean, even coat that met the client’s expectations and greatly improved the overall look of the room.
