Deck arrived and was shown to master bathroom toilet to each customer presented the toilet that was not flushing or that would back up upon flush. Technician described to possible problems and gave customer options, and was granted authorization to auger the toilet. Technician augured the toilet clear and although nothing West Palm back on the auger head chunks of waste were floating in the water. Tech explain findings to the customer and asked her how old the toilet was, she explained that it was the original one for over 20 years. Tech explained that the most Probable cause of the toilet was a week/due to the age, and explain to customer that this may happen again until the toilet is replaced. Customer declined to have a new toilet installed today however will call back when she is ready. While on site tech asked customer to get eyes on the HVAC unit as well as the water heater. Customer explained that Donâ€™s heating and cooling had done the HVAC unit within the past year or two. a
Removed existing delta 1400 series shower cartridge and replaced with new. Upon removal of old cartridge, body became stuck inside valve and needed to be removed with proper tool. After removal of cartridge body, inspected inside of valve and found normal wear and tear and advised customer valve condition. Replaced cartridge with new and tested water temperature to ensure comfort No leaks at this time.
Technician arrived and customer explained that over the past week her husband had noticed the floors in the downstairs powder room were wet, as well as the floor being wet in the closet with the water meter on the other side of the wall. Tech checked all fixtures in the powder room. Finding only a small drip on the lav sink cold water shut off valve. Upstairs all fixtures were running properly and leak free except for the lav sink cold side as well. Tech asked customer to look at the Appliances in the utility closet, finding that the hot water heater had water coming out of the cold inlet as well as the hot inlet underneath the jacket. The water had pooled up on the top, dripped down the backside of the tank, and was flowing underneath the powder room and the water meter closet. Customer was made aware and tech offered to replace the hot water heater, however the customer declined and explained pseg was going to replace the unit under warranty .
Tech arrived and the customer explained that while using the toilet over the past week he heard a crack and noticed a leak starting to form in the basement. Technician observed that there had been no washers on the Johnny bolts rendering them useless. Tech moved the ceiling tile to see where the leak has been coming from, the watermark had formed directly under the toilet.Tech explain to the customer his findings and that the toilet needed to be pulled in order to further clarify the problem. Technician was given authorization and pulled the toilet and found that the flange was to low in the floor, causing the wax seal to fail. tech offered options to the customer, and was authorized to make the flange repair. Tech raised the flange and reset the toilet before testing to ensure that there was no longer a leak and the toilet was functioning properly.
Tech was shown to kitchen where leak had been coming through ceiling. Customer and then show technician to master bathroom , And to the vanity that had water damage in it. Tech traced leak to bottom of the faucet underneath the vanity. Customer is going to find her own Faucet from the supply shop and company will come back and put them in at regular price for first faucet . as well as an additional 150 to replace the second customer supplied faucet in the master bathroom
customer showed the tech all three toilets in the house, and she explained that she was finding sentiment in the toilet tanks. Tech asked customer to see the Watermain and found that she had a whole house filter installed after the water meter. Customer explained that she was unsure when the last time the filter was changed, but did mention she had one laying on the shelf next to it. Technician exchanged the filter and dated on the filter system. Customer explained to technician that her Moen Lav Faucet would leak periodically. Tech replaced with new chrome two handle faucet .Faucet is functioning properly no leaks present at this time.

Technician arrived and was shown to the upstairs master bathroom to the shower stall. Customer explained he had attempted to replace the Delta shower cartridge himself however was unable to correctly install it and stop it from leaking. Technician pulled out the cartridge and reassembled it then carefully installed it in place into the shower valve body. Water to the house was then turn back on and technician tested the shower ensuring that it was functioning properly, and no leaks are present.
Tech Discussed with customer upon arrival age and condition of her hot water heater, a general electric 40 gallon natural gas water heater. She had explained that even though the temperature setting for the water heater was maxed out she was not getting hot enough water. Test technician explained possible causes and gave the customer options on replacement. Customer authorized a new Bradford white 40 gallon natural gas water heater to be installed in place of the old one. Technician piped in the gas hook up, the hot and cold water lines, and the exhaust flue pipe. Water was then restored to the tank and a leak test was done on the water as well as the gas. Water heater was then fired up and tested to ensure that it was properly functioning without leaks or issues.
