Continued to search for leak that has damaged units 113,115,215,313 and 315. It took me 2 hours to locate leak which one coming from the 3/4 cold feed to the kitchen in 313. This leak was in the wall between 313 and 315. It was also between the second and third floor. In order to fix leak I had to shut down hot and cold water to units 113-313 kitchen main. I then had to cut the copper lines in parking structure to let water bleed out. Once water was shut down and bleed thru I shut off gas to stove in unit 313 and pulled out stove. Once stove was out of the way I had to pull off side of cabinet and cut drywall under cabinet. This was how I was able to locate source of leak. I then had to cut both hot and cold copper line to 313 kitchen sink. We removed a total of 4 feet of copper between floors. Once cut out I installed a new section of pipe using uponor fittings and pipe. Soldered and connected section of pipe. Went down to parking garage and repaired copper pipe I cut to drain down sy

Customer continuous leak from last week. Joe V was out previously and detected water coming from the ceiling in unit 115. He open up ceiling and found water coming from plywood and framing in the above unit. When I arrived I preformed numerous leak detections to locate the leak. We searched units 113, 115, 215, 313 and 315 looking for the source of water. I used my leak detection equipment in every unit and could not hear any water running. We did find massive water damage to the master closet in unit 215, but could not find source of water. I spent 5 hours searching for source of water but could not locate leak. HOA president Jerry Mundy was onsite the whole time while we searched for water. He said that over the weekend water was leaking out of concrete in garage and coming down the hot, cold and drain pipe for units 113,213 and 313. Customer stated there was a leak on line I repaired last week. Upon arrival I found a very tiny drip of water comes no from a 1/2 90 going into shower valve. Cut water to apartment and resoldered fitting. No leak present at time of repair. No charge.

Customer has many damaged areas of cast iron pipe in parking garage that need to be replaced. I did a previous walk of parking garage with HOA president to show all areas that need to be replaced. There is a total of 370 feet of cast iron that needs to be replaced all of various sizes. Also, there are 35 fittings and 130 bands that would need to be replaced as well. This job would take 5 days to complete. Estimate provided covers labor, materials and taxes.

Resident in #315 called their own handy men out on Wednesday 3/28 because they had a leak in their unit. The handy men shut down water to unit 115,215 and 315 as well as units 111, 211 and 311. The handy men spent at least 6 hours trying to fix leak. They were unsuccessful on repairing the leak and wrapped the pipe with some sort of rubber material. The pipe continued to leak until I was able to repair it on Friday. If handymen knew what they were doing they would have shut down the hot side for the three units and cut the pie after the ball valve. This would let the water drain out into the parking structure and they could repair leak. I shut down water to hot side shower to the 3 unit. Cut the 3/4 copper just after ball valve and let water drain into parking garage. Once water was drained I went to unit 315 and cut out section of copper pipe that was leaking. Once cut out I repaired using a 1/2x3/4 reducer, copper pipe and 3/4 90. I then soldered pipe and fittings together. Once th

Customer requested hydro jetting of drain lines in parking structure. In order to jet each main line we will need to remove end caps. Because of the difficulty with jetting over head drain lines, and the potential mess it will cause we will need all cars to be moved under the sections we will be jetting. We will be jetting for a total of 5 days and 8 hours each day. The residents will need to be informed each day which section we will be jetting this way they can move their cars. After each section is jetted we will need to clean areas because of the debris that will come from the drains. If customer wants us to jet the vertical drain lines (i.e. The 2 or 3 in drains going into the concrete slab) we will need to remove cast iron fittings to run jetter thru drains. This process will add an extra week of jetting.

Customer called out because of a leak above parking stall 184. When I arrived I found a 3/4 copper line going into concrete slab leaking from inside the slab. This line was for units 102/202 cold water feed. I spoke to First service about leak and informed them I would need to shut off water supply and get into above unit. First service had me stand by while they where trying to find the right people in charge to let me into the unit. I arrived on site at 1230 and did not hear back from first service until 230. I was informed that the HOA was trying to get ahold of owner of unit 101 because it was vacant. First service informed me that Meridian sent out another plumber to property because they are the preferred vendor.

Found crack in ceiling of garage where leak happened. After further investigating the crack where water was coming from is under a patio and planter on outside of building. There is no leak present at this time. I believe that the water was coming thru from either the planter or patio of above unit. This leak is not affecting the elevator and is no where near either of the elevators.

Customer called because there was a 2 in cast iron drain line in parking garage that had a crack which ran down the length of pipe. Also, we needed to find the leak that was still an issue over parking spot 77. I found in parking structure a 2 in cast iron drain line that had a crack running the entire length of pipe. When the tenants used their washer it would leak thru the crack. I removed the 8 ft of damaged 2 in cast iron and replaced with new 2 in cast iron drain pipe. I also replaced the 2 no hub couplings that held it together. One year warranty on craftsmanship. I previously fixed some cast iron drain lines above parking spot 77. After replacement of pipes the line that runs into the concrete ceiling and thru the floors was still leaking. After further investigating we found that there was water damage to the wall and floor in the gym. I first cut a 1 x 6 ft section of drywall under the mirror that was wet and removed drywall. Checked customers issue and found there to be no problems at all. Tarp above stall 5 has been there for months and has no standing water. It looks like the might have been a leak coming from sprinkler system a long time ago.

Customers shower cartridge was not working properly. Shower stem needs to be replaced. Shower stem is old mix it.
