For this customer we did the annual inspection for plumbing. Everything in the home was mostly great other than two things that I pointed out to the homeowner, the basket strainer and the vacuum breaker on the back hose Bibb needed to be either replaced and or installed, so therefore I have solutions to take care of the those items, today. She approved the work and we got started. Replaced the basket strainer and the vacuum breaker once both of them we installed there was no leaks. Also mentioned to the homeowner, that the angle stops for the hot and cold underneath the sink were a little tight, and recommended to keep an eye on them. Added water heater and main shut off tags, along with an updated water heater flush record, to indicate when it needs to be serviced again. Water pressure 60 psi. Customer stated that water heater wasn’t heating water properly. Also, customer stated that gas burner assembly and also gas control valve was just replaced. I first noticed that TMP line is not up to code and not properly ran and also that water heater is backdrafting at times due to melted plastic on top. At this time status light on gas control valve is working fine and also there was a flame at the bottom of the heater. Put gas control valve to pilot in status light turned red. Found that error code was throwing for is a flame sensor. Attempted to get gas control valve to throw the same code, but wouldn’t do it again. Stated to customer that there may be multiple issues going on with water heater for example one could be dip tube, cross connection, and etc. Customer also stated that water heater is still under warranty through Home Depot and recommended customer to go get new water heater from Home Depot. Will send customer estimate for repairs needed and also diagnostics for water
Auger snake cleared toilet clog today , is a old toilet and fill very slow , customer aware need to be replace it
City never showed up to unlock the building for us to do our sewer line camera inspection, as it is required we have a city official with us. Charged dispatch fee today. Rescheduled to 10am tomorrow morning.
Replaced a old leaking tub faucet with a new delta single faucet
Replacement of water heater. Replacement of appliance hoses at washing machine and dishwasher. Repair of all toilets to address poor flush. Replacement of pressure regulator.
Leak on 3/4 copper line in basement. Gave customer estimate to repair 3/4 copper line customer approved estimate. After ,asking repair turned water back on to test pressure, and pressure was reading 145psi. Gave customer estimate to replace PRV customer approved estimate. Installed new PRV system is set to 65 psi. Tested all systems, no leaks or issues upon departure
