Service by Shane was excellent, professional and prompt however the company is pricey. I was charged $176 for a simple fix on my garbage disposal that should have been less than $100. Next time I will use YouTube to figure it out.

Adjusted PRV up to 78 psi. Gave quote with add on pricing to add a new hose bib before the regulator should the homeowner decide the reduced pressure is not adequate for washing cars from the front hose bib, we had to relocate the PRV on the last visit due to very limited space inside the wall when we ran the new water service.
Cleared main line blockage from clean out under the deck , camera inspection found long section of “ belly “ , no wattanty .
Customer had two 50 gallon Rheem water heaters old and leaking. Gave options for replacement of both heaters. Installed two new Rheem heaters with new ball valves. Also re-attached recirc system. After replacements checked for leaks and proper function of heater. Pressure is at 50 PSI.
Arrived today , customer and Tim both heard running water sound underground by the water meter , turned off shut off in crawl space , noticed meter still moving , determined leak is outside with polyurethane piping , we installed new 1” black poly pipe today with shut off valve with access box after meter outside.
Remove shower cartridge install new one. Customer stated that tub was draining slowly so I remove tub stopper, and stated to customer to just put a hair catcher there. Also customer stated that shower was not getting hot so recommended customer replaced cartridge and customer agreed. Went ahead and installed new cartridge and tested and now shower is working as it should. Caulked around trim of shower and will need 12 hours to dry before use.
Customer contacted us due to toilets making bubbling noises and slow to flush. During the initial visit on January 7, 2026 a diagnostic evaluation was performed. We found that the front cleanout was completely full of water, indicating the main sewer line blockage. This finding was confirmed via camera inspection. Although the camera was underwater throughout inspection, we were able to determine that there was an obstruction approximately 50 feet out. The location was marked with paint for reference. Sewer equipment was then ran to attempt to clear the blockage. But the line could not be successfully cleared. Customer was informed that the next recommended step would be to excavate and expose to identify the cause and perform spot repair. Customer approved the recommendation. We returned the following day and excavated the line at the mark location. Exposing the pipe, we discovered multiple failures, extending an additional 10 feet beyond the original dig area. Customer was
Water service leaking upon arrival. Customer stated the water has been pooling up and has gotten worse over the months. Informed customer we could dig up that area to expose the leak. After digging found leak to be under a tree in the yard, informed customer we would not be able to repair the water service but we could replace it. Gave customer estimate, customer, approved estimate. We will be out tomorrow to complete the job. Sean will be doing a bore shot
The customer was not charged for the repair due to the fact that the repair didn’t work, what 8 recommend is to replace the whole configuration and or remove and go back to a normal shower head. At this time the repair is not complete due to a damaged valve body internally. I unable to make a repair.
Client called us out due to their 1/3 hp mown garbage disposal not working. I manually tried to unjam from the top side and could not get it. The old unit was stuck to its mounting bracket and I had to cut the whole mounting bracket off to get old disposal off. We replaced the failed disposal with new badger 1/2 hp garbage disposal with plug in adapter and reconnected to drain. Tested, no issues. We also unclogged clients master bathroom ptrap drain as courtesy since we did this other work. 1 yr labor warranty
Quoted two jobs , new water line and water heater
This job CUSTOMER called us out to take a look at a possible clogged toilet and or clogged mainline. He didn’t have a clean out outside, but he did have a sewer lid that connects all the drains in the community nearby. I had him run water and flush out everything And everything drained all out doesn’t appear to be clogged in anyway the toilets flush fine and so does the shower ran water for a good 1015 minutes to ultimately determined that the line is clear and nothing needs to be action on as of right now the customer also wanted us to take a look at the shower to see if they want to convert it and or replace and rebuild the shower, stems or replace it altogether and they are ultimately waiting to see what they want to do for that as for the drain I believe it is perfectly fine with no issues, but gave different recommendations of what we can do I couldn’t check water pressure because the hose bib didn’t work in the water heater is too old for me to check it CUSTOMER is wanting to wai
Cut out back pitched kitchen/laundry drain. Added new tie in to the mainline, and rerouted two separate lines. One going to the kitchen sink, one going to the washing machine. Verified proper pitch along both runs. Secured piping with 2x4’s. Ran water through both fixtures to ensure a leak free installation. No further issue at this time. 2 year warranty on replaced sections. Thank you for choosing Chen Plumbing!
Customer had lines he needed moved in the wall in two different spots in the primary bathroom upstairs for two separate vanities. Bathroom was already down the subfloor with open floor access. Informed customer that a pressure check would be necessary for any work done involving the domestic water system in the home. Found the house pressure over psi. When locating the prv behind the water heater and noted the heater was over 20 years old. Recommendations: - Replace water theater with a new thermal expansion tank, shutoff, and drip pan - Replace the PRV and whole house shutoff - Reroute drain and water lines Description of work as sold: Price is to furnish and install a new 50 gallon gas water heater with a new thermal expansion tank, whole house shutoff, and prv. Reroute water lines, and drain lines upstairs to match center line for vanities. Completed all work as quoted. Tested work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found.
For this job went ahead and replaced the pressure reducing valve in the basement behind the HVAC unit. The water pressure was kind of low at 40 psi and when the toilet was flushed, it dropped down to about 30 psi so therefore what I’d recommended to do is replace the pressure reducing valve with brand new one furthermore, the customer didn’t have a shut off valve before the pressure reducing valve so I recommended we also add that as well and the thermal expansion tanks bladder had failed and it wasn’t supported correctly so therefore we had to go back and support it with a bracket with a piece of wood. I was going to mount it on the tank however there’s a little to no access, to the main shut off valve if we did it that way, so therefore I didn’t do it. I strapped it to the wood screwed it in tighten the bracket there’s no leaks how to use a couple different 90s to get it over there and almost essentially create a bridge once that was complete. There’s no leak on the plumbing system r
