Matthew was very thorough and thoughtful. He explained what was going on thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand.
Eric was on time, went to end of crawl space, took photos, offered options to redirect flow of sump pump outflow. I didn’t choose any of the options, but it set my mind at ease about water flowing from crawlspace. I decided to address the source of the water entering the crawlspace another day.
Khoa was pleasant to deal with and did a great job. One of the reasons I continue to use your services.
Scheduling with Chen Plumbing has been so easy and there is always a courtesy call/text when the tech is on the way, which has been very helpful when scheduling work for my personal home, as well as my client’s homes (interior designer). For this service call in particular, Matthew was on time, very courteous and knowledgeable, explained everything to myself & client giving options, and completed the work in a timely and efficient manner. Would highly recommend!

Upon arrival customer stated that when the shower is turned on that water comes out of the handle. Customer also stated that the sink in the same bathroom drains slow. I informed the customer that I would have to replace the cartridge and I also informed her for me to clear the drain I would have to run my hand held snake. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved the estimate. I run snake down drain multiple times and was able to get the drain to drain properly. Then I took the old cartridge out and installed the new one. I tested system and system is working properly with no leaks or issues.
Customer had a stoppage in bathroom group when water was backing up into tub. Customer stated she heard water rushing and clear the tub when a shower was being taken. This is an indication that there was a stoppage but it cleared. Ran the tub, faucet, shower and did multiple toilet flushes and had no gurgling or backing up in the bathroom. Left quote to run camera if any additional stoppages occur as this can be an indication of an issue in the line if it becomes a repeat offender. Customer’s pressure was at 120 psi on this check up. Customer declined repairs for pressure at this time. Left quote for prv and thermal expansion tank replacement.
Upon arrival customer stated the toilet was leaking into the basement. I informed the customer we would be to pull the toilet and see if the flange is broke or if it just needed a new wax ring. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved estimate. I pulled the toilet and inspected the flange. The flange looked good so I replaced the wax ring and the Jonny bolts. I tested to insure there was no leaks and there was not any. Customer also stated the toilet runs. Gave customer estimate. Customer approved estimate. I was not able to find the parts due to the age of the flush tower and informed the customer we would have to rebuild the whole tank or replace the toilet. Customer stated he wanted to just replace the toilet and would call us back out when they get the new toilet.

Price is to furnish and install Navien tankless unit to existing gas, water, and new venting in according with national and state code requirements. Price includes provision, mounting, connections, and any lines that need to be run to the unit, as well as penetrations for venting to the exterior of the home. Returned and installed new Navien tankless water heater with a new service valve kit, thermal expansion device, and condensate pump. Made new penetrations to the exterior of the home for the vent, condensate, and t&p. Ran new gas and water lines to the unit. Tested all work to ensure proper function and no leaks. None were found. Homeowner states that he has had several leaks over the last week or so and called us to fix the issues. Upon arrival homeowner greeted me and showed the kitchen faucet and the pipe that leak as well as the kitchen faucet. We then proceeded to the upstairs master bathroom and the vanity faucet on right side was shut off for same reason. Finally I did my inspection and found that the pressure was high and recommended replacing the PRV adding an expansion tank and fixing the leaking pipes under kitchen sink. Customer agreed but also wanted me to install the kitchen faucet and I agreed to install it for doing the three main issues which homeowners agreed. I began with shutting off the meter and removing the old PRV and installing a new model and ball valve shut off then I moved to the GWH and added a bracket with an expansion tank and capped off the pressure relief valve and removed it. Finally I moved to the kitchen and removed the old shut offs and installed pex adapters and used pex pi
Atlanta gas light notice a leak on the gas fuel line the feeding to the front of the house lamp lantern. I go down under the crawlspace and cap off the feeding supply line to that lantern. The crawlspace have a very low entrance of 1 foot height very difficult access. Customer have little to no hot water, low water pressure on the hot side of the fixture. Electric water heater is 15 years old. I replace the water heater with a 50 gallon tall electric water heater and bring everything up to code. When I go under the crawlspace, I noticed partial of the house is galvanized pipe waterline. The pipe is very corroded and leaking. Also, the inside of the pipe is very corroded. Have very small opening giving low water pressure to fixtures. I recommend customer to do a whole house re-pipe.
