Call for sewage on basement floor. Arrived and found two ejection pump basins full and overflowed. One is a pump for laundry only. The other is for a bathroom group. Both are independent of each other and not chained together, and only connected via shared main sewage system. Electrical outlets functioning at both pumps. House is on a septic system, and likely requires septic service. After septic tank has been serviced we can return to assess if pumps have been damaged or burnt out. I was unable to locate a clean out at this time. This property is being used as an air B&B. Stephen states that a renter mentioned the issue today. There has been a history of backups and misuse of sewage system on file, including trash pulled from sewage pump basin. Sewage ejection pump is new as of this year.
