After removal of old unit, I discovered significant floor flange damage requiring replacement rather than simple repair. Installed new flange securely anchored to subfloor. Applied new wax ring and carefully positioned toilet with proper compression. Connected water supply with new braided stainless line and quarter-turn shutoff valve. Caulked base according to local code requirements leaving rear portion unsealed. Verified proper function through multiple flush cycles and checked thoroughly for leaks. Adjusted water level for optimal flushing performance while maintaining efficiency. Customer was instructed on proper use of dual flush mechanisms and appreciative of the professional installation.
