Taylor family contacted Spartan plumbing with flooded basement occurring over the holiday weekend. Evaluation was performed on sump pit and piping. Found pit to have large amount of debris at bottom and a large amount of calcium magnesium buildup around pump piping and float valve which may have caused float valve to fail by not engaging properly tested electrical and windings in pump are bad. Pump was installed in 2016 and is highly recommended to replace unit. Options were presented from a battery backup system to a troubleshooting trip charge today client will go over options with wife. Water did damage flooring in basement photos have been taken and videos have been taken of unit. Cannot warranty or guarantee existing pumps lifespan it needs to be replaced as soon as possible. New 1/3 hp pump installed along with quite check valve installed during today’s service. 2 year warranty on pump install cannot be responsible for other piping and electrical issues if any. Came out to quote customer supplied versus Spartan plumbing supplied aquor outside faucets. Also recommended to the homeowner to replace the main water shut off valve that is plastic with brass and copper. The home is less than four years old. Will need 8” faucets.

Gave estimates to fix upstairs leak at tub shower. Homeowner is considering remodeling whole bathroom, and would like to way his options. Leak is happening because hand held shower sprayer is leaking down onto tub spout, which there is a gap at shower wall.
Not a call back, disposal was originally leaking, and then we replaced it. Found leak at under mount kitchen sink. Caulking around seam to potentially help with issue, there however, is no guarantee.

Recommended jetting, or quote to install additional sump crock for this drain.
Quoted replacement of tub spout in hall bathroom on second floor also quarter replacement of garbage disposal. After a thorough investigation into leak found it was coming from a leaking coupling underneath whirlpool tub in master bathroom. Shut off valve for both hot and cold sides to isolate leak for now. customer is going to have someone remove tile in front of the tub for us to access work.
