Water pressure In the home is fine. However, flow is restricted to the following. Kitchen aerator is clogged. Master toilet fill valve is clogged. Perhaps the laundry. Customer had gas off at meter . When gas company came out to turn on the gas the meter spun a little . He was concerned about gas in the water heater. I turned on gas at gas valve in closet and went out to spot meter . It didn’t move so I came back in to relight water heater and soaped gas fittings. There is no signs of leak from what I seen . Water heater is lite and working as it should..
Used flexshaft to temporarily restore flow to drain. 1 week warranty on drain cleaning. Tech also noted that expansion tank was bad.
Water heater is leaking. 7 yr old electric water heater. Must be replaced. Client would like heater moved out a bit. Main shut off valve is behind water heater. He would also like a pressure regulator installed and new main valve. Water softener is older.
Repair 2’ of copper pipe above water softener
Water heater is not staying as hot for as long. Water heater is from 2010. Water pressure is 55 psi. Water softener is working. Upon full diagnostic of the water heater, the lower element has gone bad. Due to the age of the water heater, I recommend replacement. A repair is possible but comes with risk of replacing the boiler drain valve or the heater outright if the element cannot be removed or heater drained. Removed old heater and installed new 50 gal 6 yr electric water heater.
