We were called out for concerns of a water softener implementing salty tasting water into the system by Steven. Since the unit where is a Culligan water softener we cannot service the unit or get repair parts. Due to the system being 20 years old we recommend to replace the entire system because of the life expectancy for the resin and the issue at hand. We found a home has 80 psi of water pressure and we also recommended a pressure reducing valve on the system to prevent any pressure spikes that would cause damage in the home. We also recommended to add carbon to their filtration system to take care of all of the additives the municipality places in the water supply. After further diagnosis we found that the exhaust pipe for the water heater was not sealed properly. Steven would like to talk to his wife Michelle about the quotes for today.
