Excellent Service beginning to end

Over the weekend I discovered I ha d a hot water leak. I could hear the water spraying in the wall and evidence of it showing. I contacted GA Plumbers Monday morning. They were able to make an appointment that afternoon. I was given a link with a picture and name of the person who would come. Preston arrived on time. I asked many questions and Preston answered all my questions and was genuinely kind. Preston and his assistant Melvin were careful keep the area neat as possible with the drywall cutting dust and water. The repair process was quick, Just over an hour. Both men were kind, reassuring, and informative throughout the whole process of GA Plumbers warranty of workmanship as well. I will be requesting GA Plumbers for future issues.

Tech Notes: I found that this is a AO Smith 40 natural gas water heater located in the garage of the home, and has just reached its seventh year of age, which is outside of manufacturing warranty. I found that the thermal expansion has failed, and full of water. I made the h/o aware that this is a safety/code device that will need to be replaced every 4-6 years. While on site the h/o wanted to have the basement kitchen faucet replaced, and had a brand new Kohler faucet on site as well. I presented options to have this done through service, and the h/o elected to move forward with replacements. Resolution/Recommendations: I was able to successfully replace both the thermal expansion tank, and the basement kitchen faucet with no issues. I fully pressurized both systems with no further issues or leaks. Job Notes:**Please charge the CC in the pinned notes in the amount of $721.23 for todays completed work** Job Status: Complete Estimates: Sold/Completed

Once drained, disconnected and removed heater. Unboxed and prepped new heater, placed new heater onto pan. Installed new copper risers, shut off valve, expansion tank, gas flex line, gas shut off, gas drip leg. Once all connects were made, turned water back on to test. CUSTOMER STATED: they had a toilet that was slow filling and another toilet that was not flushing. TECHNICIAN NOTES: called out today to look at a toilet slow filling and another not flushing. While on site I found the toilet in the hall bathroom was taking longer than 3 minutes to fill. In the master bathroom the toilet will not flush due to a corroded toilet handle and a corroded flapper. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I replaced the fill valve in the hall bathroom then replaced the handle and flapper in the master bathroom. After making the repairs I turned water on and tested to find everything functioning properly as should.

Cut out old whole home shut off valve and installed new 1/4 turn shut off valve and new watts double union prv. Drained down and removed existing heater. Removed stand and cleaned area. Customer stated: they had a leak in the hallway ceiling firm the guest bathroom above. Tech notes: called out today to look at a leak in the ceiling. While on site I found the leak was below the guest bathroom bath tub on the second level. I ran water and found the leak was coming from the over flow gasket in the bathtub. Resolution: I tightened the over flow to secure the over flow to the tub. After doing so I turned water on and tested to find no further leaks or drips. Job status: complete.

Customer stated: no hot water Technician notes: We checked the water heater and noticed that the pilot light was on but the temperature on the gas control valve was not properly set. This caused a lack of adequate hot water. We changed the gas control valve settings and notified the customer. Resolution/Recommendations: Gas control valve was not properly set. We changed the setting and let the customer know that hot water should be available in 45 minutes.
