Customer stated: they had no hot water. Tech notes: called out today to look at a home with no hot water. While on sight I found the hot water heater didn’t have a a flame on the burner assembly. So I lit the burner using the gas control valve and found the water heater is functioning properly as should. Resolution: relit the water heater. Job status complete.
Tenant Stated: They had no water through out the home. They also had a leak coming from the yard that was pouring into the street. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that the water was shut off at the water meter which is the reason the tenant is not able to get any water through out the home. I found that there is a leak coming the water meter, and is coming from the 3/4” PVC fitting that connects to the galvanized piping for the water meter itself. I let the tenant know I would need to shut off water to whole home as well as at the meter to dig around the meter box to make necessary repairs. Resolution: I was able to successfully cut out section of 3/4” PVC piping located in front yard/connected to the meter, and replace with brand new 3/4” pex piping along with fittings with no issues. I fully pressurized the whole line with no issues or leaks. I was also able to successfully repack the dirt/soil around the water meter with no issues. Job Notes:**Please bill out to ResiPro as

We arrived at the home and no one answered the door I called the tenant and they told me that someone else had come out yesterday and fixed the issue No one home no work performed
The tenants complaint is they received a high water bill We found the meter was spinning and you could hear water spraying at the meter We dug at the meter and found a sinch ring that had became loose and was allowing the water to leak out of the line We cut out the bad ring and made a swing joint repair to the water line tested with no issues Job completed No new estimates are needed
The tenants complaint is that they are seeing water damage to the basement ceiling in the same area as before We found a large area of water damage in the basement ceiling We cut the ceiling to determine where the leak is coming from We found the Leak coming from the cold side of the guest bathroom shower I removed the handle and found the packing nut was screwed completely out of the stem allowing water to spray into the handle We also found there is high water pressure I recommend replacing the shower valve We did go ahead and tighten the packing nut back into the stem and that has stopped the leak We replaced the prv in the crawl space Tested with no issues Job completed Estimates built and ready to send No visible clean out
