Customer called in trying to get the system jetted as there is a backup he already had a plumbing company at to snake and they stated it needs to be jetted. Informed him that if I came out today I'd only be able to snake the line that we don't run our jet equipment on the weekends he said not to come and he will just wait till tomorrow to get scheduled to have a jet truck come out

CUSTOMER STATED: they had 2 running toilets. TECHNICIAN NOTES: called out today to look at 2 leaking toilets. While on site I found that the leaking toilets are located in the hall bathroom on the main level and the guest bathroom in the basement. The issue with both the toilets is the fill valves. Both fill valves have failed due to normal wear and tear. They are extremely old ball and caulk style fill valves. I checked the water presssure and found it at 45psi. In the hall bathroom toilet home owner needs a new 2 inch flapper as well as a new fill valve. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: we will need to return with 2 fill valves and a 2 inch flapper. Home owner has to leave bc she has work she has to get to. JOB NOTES: home owner has to leave to go to work she request once we get Autho we can reschedule for another day. Clean out is under car. CUSTOMER STATED: They had a leaking water heater. TECHNICIAN NOTES: Upon inspection, I found that this is a state select 50 gallon natural gas water heater located in the basement of home, and is 20+ years of age which is outside of manufacturer warranty. I found that this unit is leaking internally and must be replaced as there are no repairs I can make for this tank. I let homeowner know I would need to submit two choice warranty for authorization of replacement, and this could take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: We will need to replace the existing 50 gallon tank located in basement of home with brand new tank, and all code required items to help fix/prevent any future plumbing issues. CUSTOMER STATED: they had a clogged tub drain. TECHNICIAN NOTES: called out today to look at a clogged tub drain. While on site I found the tub/shower drain in the guest bathroom is backing up into the tub. I found that hair and hygiene products RESOLUTION/RECOMMENDATIONS: I was able to clear the drain by taking the drain cap off and picking everything out. Customer Stated: They were unable to get any hot water through out the home. Tech Notes: Upon inspection I found that this is a AO smith commercial grade 74 gallon natural gas water heater located in the garage of home, and is only 4 years of age. I found that the tank is able to spark, and pilot instantly, but as soon as you let go of the pilot the flame will go out. I let home owner know we would need to replace the gas control valve, and thermal pile to help fix/prevent future plumbing issues. I also let her know we would need to order parts, and return or she can reach out to AO smith warranty directly, and have parts shipped directly to her home. This unit is still under manufacturer warranty until 2025. Customer States: Upstairs guest bathroom tub/ shower drain is draining slowly. They keep a hair catcher around the drain. Technician Notes: Out today to look into issue with the upstairs guest bathroom tub/ shower drain. Drains backs up the second water is ran. Called out for leak from toilet. Found 2nd floor jack n jill toilet is leaking from the wax seal and showing up on the exterior of the home since it’s located on an overhang. Replaced wax seal and fill valve. Turned water on and tested with no further leaks or issues at this time.
