Shane returned to our brand new home for the second day in a row. Our floor installers were pulling up the ceramic tile to install luxury vinyl and as they removed a nail, it was in a water pipe. (We had the same problem the day before) water was squirting up in our new home. Shane arrived as I had requested and he was polite and professional with a friendly demeanor. The work was completed in a timely fashion.

Great workmanship! Came in and introduced themselves then we discussed a few issues with water leaks and valves. They gave us several quoted options and preformed all the necessary work in a clean orderly fashion. They didn’t leave until we were completely satisfied with everything. Spot repair for sewer line in Bayville Nj
Arrived on site performed spot repair and found that the entire line is of asbestos piping and recommend replacement of sewer line but customer is considering selling the home so she would not like to move forward with the work at this time. Installed new piping attached to existing cast iron and asbestos tested all work and there appears to be no leaks at this time. Collected payment.
MyGuy Plumbing will cut & cap water and waste for kitchen sink, remove dishwasher and cut and cap lines & disconnect water line to fridge and cap. Myguy plumbing arrived on site to complete cut and cap. After all work was completed, Myguy plumbing turned water back on to home and tested for leaks. At this time their are no leaks found everything is operating as should.
Arrived at call for toilet nitro flushing correctly and very loose. Today we reset toilet and repaired toilet flange. In basement customer has two gate valves serving hose bibs. One valves was currently leaking and the other valve looked corroded. We replaced both valves and installed two new ball valves to serve hose bibs. After toilet installation toilet was flushed multiple times to ensure no leaks and proper use and function of plumbing fixture. Water was turned on to property to test ball valves. After installation all work was checked multiple times for leaks. 1 year parts and labor warranty.

Arrived on site located root penetration in the sewer line and found it is toward the house where their previous repair was connected to existing piping. Gave options on spot repair and customer would like to move forward. Collected $100 down deposit and will be returning next Tuesday to perform the work.

2 laundry shut off valves Arrived to home for leaking laundry valve. Upon inspection found that boiler drain was leaking from packing nut. I informed customer that I can tighten packing nut but that would only be a Band aid fix. Recommend replacing both valves due to same age and also laundry supply lines. MyGuy supplied and installed new shut off valves and laundry supply lines. Tested for leaks there are none at this time.

Arrived to the home, customer states very small leak under the bathroom sink, I discovered that the supply lines for the faucet were leaking. After being a customer of MyGuy Plumbing for many years, with never being a member I proposed to the client to become apart of the MyGuy Plumbing membership club. I replaced the supply lines and checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. *Client is now a member.

Ph 6 Hardness 3 Everything found on inspection Found 3/4 brass dishwasher tailpiece on inspection. Tailpiece was not leaking but advised customer that they tend to rot away over time due to poor water quality. Customer would like to move forward with replacing the tailpiece today. After replacing the tailpiece with tubular we tested for leaks with hot water. There are no leaks at this time.

Arrived on site client stated thier toilet would leak at the base of the toilet sometimes and that the toilet doesn’t have a strong flush. Went in crawlspace to make sure everything was fine underneath. Crawlspace is dry. Went over options for a new toilet, pull and reset current toilet, or customer supplied toilet. Client would not like to move forward at this time.
