After an in-depth evaluation, the following has been determined: *A leak underneath the kitchen sink has been located * the leak is coming from a cracked ABS fitting connected to the drainage for the kitchen sink * the trap configuration needs to be replaced The failed ABS trap has been replaced with a new inch and a half PVC trap and a new, no hub Fernco. All new components and connections have been tested and are operating as intended by the manufacturer.
