Arrived on site customer stated that toilet would back up into shower. He tried sneaking in himself from the bathroom sink. P-trap was taken apart by the customer. He said he also snaked it from the washer line pulled out hair/roots. We explained that the only way to snake the line will be from the toilet. He said OK he does not care do the work. He needs the bathroom up and working we pull the toilet about 9 feet into the line hit hard blockage with spearhead. We then went out 10 feet to open line, we pulled out a big thing of roots. We ran camera and found out that there’s roots infested in the terra-cotta pipe. We then ran a root cutter to clear as much of the roots as possible for the time being of the repair toilet flange is also not screwed into the floor so it is loose. Customer stated that he will put grout around the toilet himself. He does not want us to caulk or put shims. We will give him a price on doing a liner, we found a cleanout outside. It is a two-way.
