Arrived on site customer stated that that they have no heat. Upon inspection found that the boiler went out on a safety because the rollout switch had tripped due to soot build up in flue pipe and cast iron baffles. Recommend customer have chimney company come out inspect/clean the chimney and we can come in after replace roll out switch clean baffles and burn tubes and further test the boiler to see if there is any underlying issues. Sometimes boiler can fail like this due to the cast iron block freezing and cracking. Because of cold temp and this not being a full time home we winterized the water heater, boiler and home to prevent any freezing over the winter and customer can contact chimney company when they are ready. Put anti freeze in all the traps and left all valves open in the home. Collected payment.
