Tune up was done in June and today drain line was SEVERELY clogged!
Evap coil was frozen up causing the water to leak into garage because the blower motor Is not working. Thermostat is calling and sending power to the motor. Blower Motor needs to be ordered from train model #Gam5a0c42m31saa serial #12334m1n2v. Customer has 10yr parts warranty. Please follow up to install. Tdecorso@mac.com
Option A - Immediate Repair I believe power surge from storm is cause of capacitor failure.
Performed maintenance on system found system to have growth in air handler
Callback- Upon arrival found system not cooling-found drain line to be clogged and extremely full of sludge cleared drain line with nitrogen and drain cleaner and checked for proper flow -System operating as designed
Found pitiful duct work attached to package unit...see pics. Also, duct cover all wrong. Not even close to fitting, see pics.
Diagnostic Secondary pan full. Drained Pan recommended condensate pump. Payed for in advanced.
Looks good, adjusted secondary drain pan, confirmed breakers, blew out drain, added freon, no air leaks...wiring looks good. Ready for inspection 9/21/17
Before 12 had to go with 14 seer due to 23.5 inch closet.
System is cooling and performing fine. 20 degree temperature split. Refrigerant charge is fine. Nothing wrong. Came out to check system per home inspector. Run card on file for diagnostic fee.
Found system low on r22 refrigerant. Checked warranty and it had 5 yr parts and was not registered. System is 8 yrs old and recommended system
Bobby was here in !ay and cleaned drain. Drain was clogged again. Could not find Drain exit so I blew it out and flushed it. System is cooling fine.
2.5 ton franklin install for Monday morning between 8 and 10 am ! Half now half after install ! New unit needs ne pad and Eval ducts ! Behind unit is access to ducts ! Only wants me for service or repairs !
