After arriving to the property to perform an inspection of the septic system I was able to determine that the slab lid tank does not have a baffle separating solids and liquids, and currently the way the outlet is installed on the tank it is too close to the top of the concrete tank for me to be able to camera the Leitchfield, at this time I provided multiple upfront prices to obtain access to the drain field as well as possibly replace the septic tank, I have reached out to Park management to further discuss with no answer, will follow up next week and attempt to further discuss

-Locate and Dig Up Unit 6 Septic Tank -Pump Up to 1000 Gallons -Follow Up Drain Field Inspection Upon arrival I spoke with the park manager and he made me aware of multiple issues arising to include standing water in certain areas on the property. I then made him aware that his septic tank would need to be pumped so that we could give a proper inspection of the drain lines. After he accepted I got a signature approval and I began locating the septic tank. Once located and hand dug I began pumping the septic tank until it was clean and clear. I made the park manager aware that our sewer specialist would do a full inspection tomorrow morning. I then cleaned up all tools and materials.

Upon arrival Ron and I discussed the issue he was having with his hall bath vanity sink. After a thorough evaluation it was discovered the sink is cracked. He had stated he was just trying to get estimates for a future time due to guest coming and not having the ability to do the work now. After further discussing it he stated that at this time they don’t have the means to do the repair, but will keep us in mind for when he finds the sink he’d like and has the means to follow through with the installation.

After arriving to the home, the homeowner made me aware of a few things he needed to get done. First was the water lines in his garage. He has copper runs that have been repaired throughout the years, and he is interested in those getting converted. Second, the 2 bathrooms for the home are still cast iron. This is for 2 full bathrooms which are adjacent to each other. Some work has been done for the hallway tub/shower, but everything else remained as cast iron. A total of 4 fixtures, and one vent stack needs to be addressed. Third, the homeowners just purchased a new washing machine, and they are unable to connect the new hose to the preexisting discharge. Located in the basement is a conversions between a standard outlet hose from a clothes washer to a rubber discharge which eventually makes it was to a 2” trap. The washer and it’s drain are approximately 8’ vertically separated. I gave the homeowner options with upfront pricing to get these issues resolved. At this time, I have email

Install 42 water meters in the apartments mechanical closets Customer is supplying the meters and we will be supplying the fittings and pipe to install them We will have to drain down the building and turn off the power to each water heater and then cut in the valves We are not responsible for possible sediment clogging up showerheads, faucets or toilet fill valves Upon arrival reviewed with customer work to be completed. After doing a walk-through and looking at location where water meter will be mounted in all units of 2010 building, began setting up table and started putting together water meters. While one person was putting together water meters, another one was draining two units at a time and installing the water meter in both units after draining down water heater. After water meter was installed we would restore water pressure and check for leaks. I was able to complete water meters for entire 2010 building on first day. Will return tomorrow to continue work. Upon arrival I was greeted by the homeowner. We discussed that I was performing the inspection for his plumbing system. He explained that he has high water bill. Properly checked all fixtures, water heater, water pressure, piping, toilets and drains. Dye tested all toilets. No leaks. Kitchen faucet has a continuous drip some times if it doesn’t fully shut off. Recommend replacing kitchen faucet to alleviate water loss and usage. Checked all bathroom sinks, tubs and showers for functionality and leaks. No issues at this time. Provided options for things that were noticed today. Recommend to homeowner to have town of Elon come and verify meter is working properly. Water pressure at home is 70psi.
