Prep area for new install by checking for level, and proper depth and width Install new water main from the city meter, to the home Place tracer wire at time of install to easily locate for future service Sleeve new water line with break resistant casing to prevent damage to the water line Fill trench by packing dirt around new install, and leveling leftover dirt over the work area 5 year “can’t write a check” warranty Upon arrival to the home we dug a trench from meter to home approximately 60 feet. Once the trench was dug up, we proceeded to dig up at the meter box and the home foundation for penetration. After preparation was completed, we installed 1” pvc sleeve over 3/4 pex pipe and laid in ditch. After the pipe was laid, we connected pex pipe to the water meter after disconnecting old pipe.
