Though their bid was not the cheapest it was also not the most expensive. Their presentation was professional including labor and cost of materials specified accurately. The workers were prompt,professional and unintrusive (I work at home). The job was completed on time and the work site left completely cleaned up. I had a minor problem subsequent to completion and it was addressed and corrected the next day. I would use this company again and I would recommend them to friends or family.

It was done in a timely manner and extra help was added to finish in time for this ever-changing weather we have here in the Northwest. They got it done before the rain came and did so professionally. All debris was cleaned up and they left the area clean as before they came. I recently hired Urban Hammer to replace the roof on my house, and I couldn’t be happier. Every step of the process, from when I first contacted Justin Evans to ask for a bid until the end, when everything was finished, was pleasant and easy. His bid was competitive with what I was quoted by the two other contractors I spoke with, so the decision to choose Urban Hammer was based partly on the other reviews I read, but mostly it came down to the fact that Justin went the extra mile to not only answer my questions, but also to carefully look at the project and ask his own questions, so that everyone knew what to expect. His thoroughness assured me that there wouldn’t be any expensive surprises, and indeed, there were none. Throughout the process he made sure to keep me updated on their progress, and on the next steps being taken. I had a lot of questions during the various stages of project, but I was always treated with respect, even if some of my questions were perhaps eye-rollingly uninformed. The crew doing the work were pleasant and highly professional. Hats off especially to Pedro, who in my opinion is the key employee in the company.

Urban Hammer worked with me to make sure I understood what needed to be done to replace me roof. They helped me understand the multiple bids I received. They were not the lowest cost, but they were very close. They gave me a feeling of security and the ability to make an informed decision that ultimately allowed me to select them. The 100 + degree weather prevented the schedule from being met, but they did their best to catch up and when the got started it went quickly. They made sure my yard was clean of any scraps from the previous roof tear off. I was especially concerned about my dogs stepping on a tack or nail. I also had some issues with with a couple of skylights and they got on it and cleared up the issues right away. I feel so much more secure in my house with my new high quality roof!! 3 layer tear off of one story ranch. I hate supervising contractors! But I didn't need to with this company. Materials estimate on target. Communication with company rep Justin easy. Cleanup during all phases of project very good. Problem? Debris in garage unanticipated. No worries quick call to Justin. Justin secured shop vac for crew to use. Garage left better than before.
