I ripped out an old window in a fit of rage and disgust, then I called to get a replacement. I should have done it the other way around. It took a little over a month for my new window to be manufactured and ready for install. The installer was quick and professional, but the fact that I did half his work by removing the old window and trimming out the inside of the new one myself didn't save me any money. Window is nice (and pricey), but next time I'll do the entire job myself...or let them do the whole thing themselves! Live and learn. Overall, I'm pleased.
