Upon arrival homeowner informed that blower was working but the ac was not, I found that the dual run capacitor has failed and also noticed the contactor was pitted and the contacts were burnt up. Replaced failed 40/5 mfd capacitor and replaced failing 2 pole contactor. Everything turned on normally, I checked amp draws on OD fan 1.4 and compressor was at 19.3 which is higher than normal. Checked filter and it was recently replaced checked static pressure S .35" R .25" w.c.. Checked blower motor capacitor R: 15 A: 14.8 and blower amps were 5.6. Going to follow back up in a few weeks to do complete maintenance on equipment. Also while I’m there they would like qoute on new Water Heater!
