Air Conditioner Maintenance • Cleaned AC • Vacuumed debris from condenser • Wash condenser coil • Torque Schrader cores • Tightened king valves • Check for refrigerant leaks at service valves • Clean filter grill • Replaced filter • Condenser fan motor amps1 Compressor amps 10 • Check contactor pads are burnt recommend replacement • Blower cap MFD 6.8 on 7.5 recommend replacement • Blower amps5.2 • Inspect coil Contactor is burnt, pitted and charred. Contactor is responsible for allowing power to pass into unit. When contractor pads are burnt, pitted and in poor condition it will eventually stop allowing electrical current to flow and air conditioner will not work. Blower capacitor is below intended operating capacity and starting to go bad. Low capacitor will cause the blower motor and circuit board to work harder and draw more amps, which will cause them to a fail prematurely. Recommend replacement of blower capacitor and contactor at this time.
