Upon arrival the thermostat was calling for cool and the fan outside was on but the compressor was not turning on, find dual run cap has failed on the hermetic side. Replace capacitor with turbo 200. Contactor is pitted and losing voltage across contacts causing unit to not run as efficiently as possible. Replaced contactor. Inrush current on unit was reading 119 amps, recommended hard start kit to help with damaging inrush current, new inrush reading 68 amps. Condenser coil was extremely dirty, cleaned coil inside and out removing a lot of dust and debris while doing so. Checked the evaporator coil and was dry and clean. Blower wheel was clean as well. Good airflow from all registers that I could see inside the home. Let unit run for a total of 33 minutes with no issues. Registers reading 62 degrees with home reading 82 degrees. Compressor amps reading 9.9 and rated for 17, fan amps reading 1.1 and rated for 1.3. Unit cooling and functional upon departure.
