Customer reports no cooling. Air would come out of vent but outdoor unit was not working Put out a call for cool and I could hear compressor come on but fan was not spinning. Checked capacitor and it did have a full charge, checked contactor and it is In very poor shape with it being all blacked out and charred although it is in very poor condition it is still working and allowing power to flow into the unit Diagnosis is a failed fan motor Repairs would entail a new fan motor and with it a new capacitor, also due to very poor condition of contactor i suggest replacing that as well.
