I performed a diagnostic on an Armstrong gas furnace. I found that the 3 way pilot system was not sending a signal back to the valve that pilot had lit. I pulled and cleaned the pilot tubing and assembly but unit still wouldn't light. I quoted the cost to repair the gas valve and pilot assembly but customer decided to replace the whole Hvac system.
