I completed a diagnostic on a Bryant furnace and Payne AC unit. I found water damage on the ceiling and is coming from 2 trunks that feed 2 registers in the living room. I also found some obvious cracks on the siding for the house directly next to these spots. The issue has happened in the past and the ceiling was painted over, but problem was never addressed.
I went to the customer's home to replace the breaker. I cycled the system and it is operational at this time.
I completed the spring tune up on an air conditioner. I visually inspected the furnace. Checked voltage and amps. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored the system. Operating normally at this time.
I gave an estimate to install a Carrier 13 SEER 3.5 Ton Air Conditioner. Included in the estimate is a 1 year free service maintenance agreement.
I went to customers home to do a call back install service. I Found water in pan, pan is bent on 1 side causing the water to pour out of it. The reason why secondary pan has water in it is because main drain line is clogged causing water to drain out of evap and drain directly into secondary pan. Unclogged drain line the best I could, drain line is about 40ft long. No insulation on plenum causing it to sweat. Install is coming back out to uninstall furnace and reinstall it with a new secondary pan. And put insulation on supply. Will have install look at possibly runner a new drain line.

I went to the customer's home to provide an estimate for a new air conditioner. Upon arrival I realized that replacing the unit would not solve the issue of not cooling the upstairs. I recommended having a 2nd unit installed to keep up with the temperatures.
I performed a diagnostic on a TRANE air conditioner. I found that the system had completely frozen. The customer would like to contact the installation company to see if the unit is still under warranty.
