I completed a diagnostic on a Carrier AC unit. I found the electrostatic filter has the cells but not the screens, filter is doing absolutely nothing. Evaporator has a pile of dirt on it. I also found the condenser fan not coming on due to a dead cap. I replaced the cap, washed the unit, and let the compressor cool down. The outdoor unit is now working properly.
