Preformed a winter maintenance on 5 Ton Lennox. Indoor unit: I checked amps on blower motor and heat strips, I checked drain pans and drain lines, I checked float switch, I checked Uv light, I checked electrical wires and connections. Outdoor unit: I checked amps on compressor and fan motor, I checked capacitor, I checked around the contactors and the board, I looked into the unit for rubbed wires and rust, I cleared the bottom of the unit due to large amount of leaves, I vacuumed the drain line, I washed the unit down with water. Everything is working properly at this point in time. I should’ve had some Dirty Sox spray.
