Goodman package 10+ years System working during the day but goes out overnight. Checked system and found defrost board to be bad. Was unable to manually put system in defrost so this board would need to be replaced. Evaporator coil is rusted. Fire ants have also made a mound going into evaporator coil section. Blew dirt out from unit the best I could. No data tag is present on system so cannot determine exact age but it is at least 10 years. Due to to price of repair, rusted coil and overall condition of system replacement is advised. Since system will not go into defrost advised customer to set thermostat to emergency heat at night and below 40 degree weather. Current indoor temperature is 74. Customer has requested a comfort advisor to come out about a replacement. Turned over to Jack
