AC Pros is a great Air Conditioning Company. We have been happy customers since 1999. We recently had 2 new units installed and all the duct work replaced by this company. They did an excellent job. We are very happy and pleased with how efficient our systems are.
The service Jason provided was excellent!! He explained some things about our system to help us understand better. He was very professional & certainly seemed to have complete understanding of how our systems worked. I would welcome him back again to provide ongoing service. No heat found gas valve on nee unit closed open and system is heating properly at this moment
Perform 1 systme maintenance on master bedroom recently installed system checked refrigerant levels changed customer supplied filter and washed condenser coil system cooling properly at this moment
Completed maintenance check, washed condenser coils drains are clear. Refrigerant levels are fine. Replaced media filter for downstairs. Customer purchased gold membership for second unit.
Perform walkthru on recently installed ductwork system ducts are hung properly and saddle everything is sealed. Installed 10x8 supply grill customer is happy good job to installer
AC performance tuneup times two systems. Supply and change out 116Ã—25 times for filter. Also 120Ã—25 times for filter inspect mowers, evaporators and ductwork. Checked thermostat for proper operations. Verified primary drains are clear at this time. Check outdoor units. Refrigerant levels good in both units. System on the east side of the home is 17 years old. Recommendation is to change out. Wash both condenser coilâ€˜s. Checked all capacitors and contactors. System is cooling properly at this time.
Perform 2 system maintenance clean both condenser changed downstairs filter and upstairs filter should be change as well I let Charles know. System specs are on the maintenance forms. Recommend replacing the grey flex ductwork due to its age and not being hung properly. Both systems are cooling at this moment.
Arrived to find system not running outside and not getting 24v. Went to furnace and 24v wire was connected to only one leg of the ac. System needed to be hooked to y and ylo. Once it was connected system still didn't run so I bypassed the rectifier and got them running but only in first stage. When Compressor starts and stops you can hear there's a problem. Need to double check on how to proceed and given the time I bypassed the rectifier to let system run in first stage to keep cooling. The liquid line has been crossed threaded so only low pressure was checked but within range. Can confirm ac is running but compressor has further issues that need to be addressed asap.
Walkthrough on 2 system install. Both systems installed properly and level. All duct connections properly sealed except for one. I mastic sealed it. Condensers properly wired and level. When I arrived Mrs. Wickstrom informed me of a concern she has had for a while. She stated that â€œblack stuffâ€ was coming out of the registers. I informed her that it was bacteria growth due to the age of the ducts and that they were not sealed. This allows hot and cold air to mix which creates moisture in the ducts, which eventually grows bacteria. The register in the upstairs bedroom with the baby crib is definitely the most concerning. Upon inspection I noticed that the boots were Internally insulated. They are rusted to the point that the tabs on the start collars have fallen off and there are large amounts of bacteria growth. Mrs.Wickstrom stated both upstairs bedrooms are always cold/hot (cold in winter hot in summer). Both upstairs bedrooms duct sizes could be increased. I inspected the ductwo
Performed heating maintenance, cleaned flame sensor, treated drain lines, changed filters, inspected blower compartment, and checked all components to be operating within manufacturers specifications. Heating form filled out and all recommendations listed on it.

Downstairs system has 10ppm of carbon monoxide. Upstairs system has 16 ppm of carbon monoxide. Due to health and safety concerns I have disable the heat function on these furnaces until the customer has resolved the carbon monoxide issue. The ductwork is old grey flex with duct board mixing boxes and it is all starting to break down. The complete downstairs system is from 1999 and the upstairs furnace is the same age with the cooling side being from 2010. I would recommend replacing these systems due to age and I would recommend replacing the ductwork for a higher efficiency.
Arrived to find gas valve turned off. It was turned on and heat is running. Maintenance was done on both systems as well. Airflow was adjusted on the down stairs unit and multiple vents were switched to blow in the correct direction. Senors cleaned, amps checked, pressures all.checked out. May need to adjust the airflow again please call !!Jason if issues arise.
