Indoor side has had some repairs on it such as a coil replacement in 2012 and a blower motor and control board replacement. It is operating today. Heat strips are working today. Outside electrical components are operating today. Motor and compressor read good amps. Noticed oil stain near reversing valve. Detected refrigerant leak with leak detector. Showed ms. Dixon and communicated to her about the potential problems that could arise this winter. I provided her with 4 options for complete system replacement. All discounts applied and finance options given. She will give this system some more time and make a decision possibly this year if refrigerant levels get lower.
