Joel was very courteous but went straight to work. He helped me get started on reconnecting my wifi and thermostat ap. While I completed that he inspected both of my units and tested my carbon monoxide monitor.

Moved condensing unit so contractor could do work to prevent flooding again. Jeff is purchasing 2XV units. Units are scheduled to be installed on April 11. Half of the total was paid today. $27,500.
Arrived to find neither thermost setup and customer completely confused and unaware of his to work it. Customer was walked thru the thermostat, shown how to operate it and ac was turned on. Neither system worked. System was checked and neither comdensor came on. Upstairs unit had liquid line still closed and was low on 410a. Downstairs system was short cycling. 7lbs of 410a was added between the 2 of them and installer need to be sent back out to correct the install and find the leak. Customer ia expecting them back out on Friday per chris.

Heat performance tuneup times two systems. Upstairs system is brand new. Found no issues with it at this time. downstairs system is 20 years old. The condenser is a 2012 model. I was recording 10 to 11 ppm CARBON MONOXIDE after the heater had ran for about five minutes. This exposure is dangerous to small children. I advised Lindsay that it would be best to replace now. She stated they are still paying for the upstairs unit. Downstairs heat exchangers have small cracks allowing CO into the airstream. Inspect blowers, evaporators and ductwork. Another recommendation today is to have the ducks cleaned. This will ensure the cleanest air is available for the home. Also checked the outdoor units to see if there were any issues when clients turn on the air conditioners. Run capacitor was 45+5 µF.
Put customers old thermostat back on and cycled the system. Can confirm heat is running at this time.
Heat performance tune up x 2 systems Client changes his own filters. Inspect blowers, evaporators and ductwork. Test all safety features high limits and rollouts. No carbon monoxide or gas leaks detected in the home. Clean flame sensor and inducer ports. Systems are 2 yrs old and are operating at MFG specs at this time.
Verified everything was working correctly and nothing was missed . Checked float switches and checked condensate lines . Customer is gunna be selling house soon and the 23 year old rheem that cools the sunroom has a leak so I gave estimate.
Performed maintenance and changed filters on both units . Completed tune up form and sent to customer. Both are new systems with new Insulation..
System wasnt wired for two stages so I wired it correctly. Thermostat was needing calibration which I Caliberated.

Apon arrival checked in with customer the following are my findings Found the unit working properly at this time however there are several areas that could use improvement please see pictures attached and estimate Found o parts per million for carbon dioxide and no natural gas leaking at this time
Dispatch to come investigate cracks around recently installed windows. I documented all the severe spots. Every one of the windows need to be caulked with the correct material inside and out. Office will schedule a date for us to return to make all windows right.
I replaced the Condenser Fan Motor. We replaced the Dual Capacitor and added a Hard Start Kit on Sunday. I explained to the REALLY nice couple these are all Bandage repairs and while the System could last for years without another major repair…The Compressor could fail tonight. I have no way to predict that.
Compressor and condenser fan motor was functioning. Installed Turbo run capacitor and hard start kit. Checked charge working properly.
Performed spring maintenance on 2 system, drains are clear, Freon levels are good. Filters are clean. Electrical components are in specifications, run capacitors, fan and blowers motors are in range. Washed condenser coils. Main system is 17 years old, compressor is consuming hi amps on start up and is past life expectancy, could fail at anytime. Recommend replacement. Homeowner declined at this time.
