I can’t say enough good things about this company! They are responsive and dependable. The technicians are friendly and experienced. I’ve been using Ac Pros for many years and have been completely satisfied!
AC Pros have delivered in all aspects. Unfortunately twice now I have found myself with an AC unit that wasn’t working properly. AC Pros were able to fit me i to the schedule for the day and the technician was great. Joel was very friendly and knowledgeable. He got right to work diagnosing the issue. Quickly relayed to me the issue he found, resolution and cost. My AC is not cooling again!
Performed a Heat maintenance on a 7 year old American Standard Gas furnace. System is heating properly, no leaks, correct amperage and voltage and clean filter. My suggestions to the home owner were adding insulation and a duct cleaning. The return plenum and duct is dirty.
Dispatched to investigate water damage on a ceiling. Upon arrival system was turned off. I advised Michael to turn system on to see where it was leaking. I poured 2 gallons of water down drain and did not see any spot in the PVC that was breached. Documented the secondary pan underneath the evaporator coil. It is in real bad shape. Possible leaking through secondary pan. I installed a quick blast and use nitrogen to verify the primary drain line is clear. I am recommending a new secondary pan.
Customer called and wanted to install a new drain pan because the current pan was rusting out and leaking water. I changed out the drain pan but also noticed that the coil was a block of ice. I saw that there was a kink in the suction line, I also noticed a bunch of air leakage from the supply side. I couldn’t check for a leak since the coil was frozen. Filters were clean. No sign of a restriction except the kink. I gave the customer estimates on basic systems. He will contact when he has made a decision. Collected $459
No cool for upstairs 2019 3 ton, found outdoor unit not running, found bad cap, gave homeowner options for cap, hardstart and membership, as of now just wanted to change capacitor. Unit is cooling at this time
Completed with estimate to replace a 2.5 ton above the tub straight ac. Left estimate. Customer is going to call home warranty and get more bids.
Complted with ac 1 on a 2014 Lennox gas horizontal in attic 4 ton, unit cooling at this time or check up. Found start up amps from compressor at 270-310 out of 109 and it rattles when it goes off, weak capacitor rated 45/10 reading 38/7, ecm blower motor is shaking andnmskingnnoise with a rusted dran pan.Giving customer the option to do all preventative repairs, minimum repairs or condenser upgrade. Customer wants to wait for now
AC performance tuneup times one system. System is 20 years old. R 22. Filter is OK at this time. Client would like to have an early fall visit so that we can change her filter without having to make another trip over here.
Replace Coil Only under parts and labor warranty
Checked system, outdoor unit had a failed 70/7.5mfd capacitor. Not allowing compressor to start. Replaced with turbo200x capacitor. System cooling properly now.
Checked system. Upstairs drainline is clogged. Downstairs and upstairs systems both share the drainline that terminates underneath upstairs jack and Jill sink. Would need to install drain isolation and clear drain. Homeowner will most likely have the company that installed their equipment make it right because there is ceiling damage and the ss1 and ss2 switches were left wire nutted together inside of the electrical cabinet in furnace.
Checked indoor unit: blower motor, temp split, cleared drain line, checked float switch, changed air filter, checked duct work Outdoor unit: checked fan motor, compressor, capacitor, contractor, pressure levels, sub cooling and superheat, cleaned coils Recommended items: blowout valve for condensation line, duct cleaning, and replacement of unit. However, unit is properly functioning at this time. Gave customer a rough estimate of the cost verbally.
Maintenance performed, coil clean, amps are good on blower motor, drain is clear, amps on compressor are good, amps on fan motor are good. Unit is cooling as of now. Homeowner usually does not run unit during the day so it was warm in the house, takes time for coil to cool the house down, still got 16 degree split. Unit cooling as of now
