I was Dispatched to do a Post-Install Inspection. I spoke with the Homeowner and walked the job with her. I offered to set up her Thermostat to the internet. She declined for now. I asked if she needed any help with the Thermostat. She stated the Installers had done a great job showing her around her new equipment. I investigated the Master Bedroom temperature difference issue. I explained the ducts had not changed and so every individual duct has the same ability to move air as before the Equipment change out. The temperature difference is worse now than it was because overall the system is pulling down the rest of the house far better than before. This leaves the Master Suite with an unsatisfied Heat Load. We need to add a supply AND a return. Her Bedroom door is often closed and while closed there is no way for the air to get back out of the space causing a bottleneck.
