Installed new evaporator door. Noticed that there is a aftermarket UV light in direct contact with the metal side of the evaporator door. It should not have any bearing on the plastic but for some reason it is. The breaker panel is also deteriorating. The UV light is called air health. For some reason it is deteriorating the poly cabinet of this air handler.
